Product description

This bit is suitable for horses with little space in the mouth and for ponies.

Beris' plastic bits are made of 'food safe' quality plastic. The plastic surface is very smooth and glides easily through the horse's mouth, even on horses that produce little saliva. The sticky effect that rubber and other plastic mouthpieces can have does not occur with Beris plastic bits. Horses accept this plastic very well and will often chew and produce more saliva.

Available with a 'soft or 'hard' plastic mouthpiece, the 'soft' variant is flexible. The Beris comfort bit is anatomically shaped and rests with equal pressure on the tongue and layers with enough room for tongue mobility. This bit distributes pressure evenly on the tongue and layers. This type of mouthpiece has no pinching (nutcracker) effect like single or double broken bits. Due to its anatomical shape, this bit lies very still in the horse's mouth.

Straight mouthpieces work in fairly softly; the "soft" variant is ideal for young or sensitive horses

The liverpool bit is a classic bit for driving and has various options for attaching the (reins). If desired, a foam bracket can be ordered on the bottom of the scissors.

*Mouthpieces made of plastic or leather are a lot softer and lighter than metal mouthpieces, this is why many horses find these bits very comfortable. If these bits are placed incorrectly in the mouth or if the horse's teeth have sharp edges, the risk of slight damage is higher than with metal bits. For this reason, Beris does not guarantee damage from teeth marks on the bit.
